Prior to beginning work, we’ll chat with you about your ideas and preferences. Our goal is to capture the quintessence of your novel so you feel proud showcasing it. Feel free to send us your favorite covers, Pinterest boards, design notes, or whatever! Or if you’re not sure, we’re happy to brainstorm designs for you.
I needed a self-help introversion book cover for “Joyfully Introverted,” but while I knew what I didn’t want, I couldn’t seem to land on what I did. Interior Formatting
Basic
We'll format the interior of your book and ensure your margins and text flow are correct. This is perfect for fiction novels with minimal to no images. You will receive an .EPUB (ebook) file and a .PDF (print) file.
MAPS
Fantasy & scifi maps
Get a custom-made map of your world to include inside your book. You will receive a colorized map and a black & white version that is adjusted to look wonderful when printed.

How many revisions will you do?
Cover designs are limited to three revisions.
Do I pay for stock images or fonts?
No, those are already included in the price.
Are the images and fonts you use commercially licensed?
Yes, all design elements are commercially licensed through Envato or similar sites. You can read about Envato’s licensing here: https://elements.envato.com/license-terms
Can you paint a custom illustration for my cover?
This will depend on the style and content of the illustration you desire. At this time, we’re limited in the types of illustrations we can offer. Illustrated covers have additional costs beyond what is listed on our website. Please reach out to us to discuss the project and to receive a free quote.
What if I already have an illustration and only need text?
If you already have artwork ready for your cover and only need text and simple graphic additions to it, we can create your print and ebook cover for $150. Please note that we will not create a cover if you provide us with an AI-generated image. We also require a copy of the license or the artist’s written permission to use the artwork in your cover.
Do you use AI-generated Images?
No. We have a hard no-generative-AI policy at Fablesmithy. We believe in safeguarding human creativity from the encroachment of AI.
