Derek’s work experience is in photography, accounting, and forensic pediatrics, only the lattermost of which is even tangentially related to his education in psychology. After a decade of editing two-hundred-page medicolegal reports and other technical writing, he’s excited to read pretty much anything else that you’re willing to throw at him. Please don’t actually throw it, though; he startles as easily as his four cats, one of whom is currently preventing him from typing this autobiography with both hands.
